Job summary

Sysco is hiring dependable CDL-A Delivery Truck Drivers in Alaska to safely operate tractors-trailers, unload goods, and deliver to customer locations on a daily home route. You will build relationships with customers, adhere to schedules, and maintain safety while handling meats, produce, groceries, and more.

Minimum requirements include 21+ years old, a valid CDL-A with a clean driving record, and ability to read and communicate in English. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Able to lift 40–100 pounds and move freight when needed.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

• Monday - Friday and weekend start time varies
• 10 stops on average

Job Summary:

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable CDL-A Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• 21+ years of age
• Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
• License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Touch freight - may need to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds
• Flexibility - overtime as required, weekends and holidays as business needs require

Preferred Requirements:

• 1 year of customer delivery experience
• 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience
• 6 months of food and beverage experience
• 2 years of consistent work history
