Job summary

Velocity TruckingPros LLC seeks a Class A Local Route Driver to deliver to Phoenix-area retail stores. You will be home every night and work flexible day/night shifts on local intrastate routes.

You must have 1 year of Class A experience, a valid CDL, and a DOT medical card. Benefits begin after 60 days, with medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) match and PTO. Call to apply and lock in your schedule.

Class A Local Route Driver – Home Every Night

If you live in the Phoenix area and want to stop sleeping in a truck, we have a local driving slot open right now. This is a dedicated retail run that gets you home to your family every single night, while still giving you the heavy weekly paycheck of a regional route.

Since these stores depend on on-time deliveries, you need to be ready to roll solo on day one -we can't take trainees or teams for this specific account.

The Pay Breakdown

• Hourly Base: Start at a flat $20.00 per hour.
• Extra Stop Pay: Earn an extra $20.00 for every single stop you make.
• Unload Premium: Get a flat $75.00 bonus for every trailer you unload.
• Weekly Average: With the base hourly pay and extra bonuses combined, drivers average a solid $1,600 gross every week.
• Short Runs: Any short-haul segments are paid at your full $20.00 hourly rate.
• Benefits: Complete medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, a matching 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off. All benefits kick in after your first 60 days on the job, and you get local dispatch support whenever you're on the road.

Your Daily Schedule & The Work

• Home Time: 100% Home Nightly. You finish your run, clock out, and sleep in your own bed every day.
• The Route: You'll be running local and intrastate loops out of Phoenix, delivering to dedicated retail stores across all major cities in Arizona.
• The Shifts: This account runs around the clock, so you need to be flexible enough to handle both day and night shifts depending on how the dispatch schedules fall.
• Weekends & Holidays: Weekend work is standard to keep the stores stocked. You are guaranteed to have Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day completely off.
• Physical Work: This is an active, physical job. You'll be using a trailer liftgate to handle driver-assisted unloads. The freight is mixed: about 80% of it is already pre-loaded onto wheels/carts, and the other 20% requires you to stack it onto carts at the store. You must be fully okay with working physically, especially during Arizona summers.

Qualifications

• Where You Live: You must reside within 75 miles of Phoenix, AZ.
• Experience Required: You need a firm minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience. No trainees can be accepted on this run.
• License & Medical: Must hold a valid Class A CDL and a current DOT medical card.
• Safety & Screening: You need a clean driving record and a stable work history. You must also pass a mandatory hair and urine drug screen.
• Not SAP Friendly.
