Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a licensed Class A CDL driver to operate gasoline or diesel powered tractor trailer combinations from base to destination(s). You will unload and load goods, fuel and unhook trailers, and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 21 years old, a clean driving record for the past 39 months, and the ability to read and communicate in English. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a Class A CDL.
• One year driving experience with a clean driving record in the past 39 months.
• Must be flexible for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must read and communicate in English sufficiently to converse with the public.

Responsibilities

• Unload and pickup product at docks, yards, or warehouses.
• Fuel tractor and trailer(s) upon return to base and unhook at destination.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Management on equipment prioritization.
• Inspect truck for defects before and after shift; report condition.
• Check loads after loading to verify load locks and straps are used.
• Maintain driver log per DOT regulations.
• Collect empty cases and racks or unsold product if required.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Perform additional duties as needed to meet business needs.
