Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. is hiring CDL A or B Local Delivery Truck Drivers in Wisconsin. Home every night with a consistent weekly schedule.

You will run daily routes, load packages onto hand trucks, unload at each stop, and operate in a cross-dock model with the Transportation Department Manager directing the route. Responsibilities include ensuring on-time deliveries, maintaining safety, performing pre-trip inspections, and handling customer sign-offs.

Qualifications

• High School or GED or equivalent required.
• One-year route delivery experience or applicable driving a straight truck.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• May include transporting product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Sysco policies and procedures.
