Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group company, is hiring a Local Delivery Driver to support food distribution across customers in the Montpelier area. The role involves delivering and unloading food products with a Monday–Friday schedule, typically 4:00 AM start, and weekends off.

Earn $70,000–$80,000 yearly after a 45‑day training period, plus a $5,000 sign‑on bonus. No experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL A or B license.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and safe driving policies.
• Report safety hazards and ensure secure freight.
• Verify delivery and obtain customer signatures; collect payments when required.
• Load/unload freight and secure equipment after deliveries.
• Maintain daily hours of service records per regulations.
• Keep tractor, dock area, and trailers clean and organized.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
