Job summary

CTDI is hiring a Non-CDL Truck Driver in Joliet, IL. Drive a small box truck to destinations within the local area, 1st shift, 6:00AM–3:30PM, Monday to Friday. Starting pay is $24.12 per hour with 40–50 hours weekly and 0–10 hours of overtime.

Includes benefits and training opportunities. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, loading/unloading, maintaining logs, and ensuring safe transit with DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliability, adaptability and dependability
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Inspect the truck pre- and post-trip and complete inspection sheets
• Ensure cargo is loaded, checked, and secured during transit
• Assist with loading/unloading of cargo and sign shipping/receiving documents
• Monitor maintenance and repair of the truck
• Provide professional customer service and represent the company positively
• Comply with Federal and State DOT regulations and warehouse safety rules
