Job summary

Stier Supply Company in Sanford, NC is seeking a Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. Operate a box truck, load and unload materials, follow routes for on-time deliveries, and document shipments. This role is full-time, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Ideal candidates will have DOT compliance knowledge, strong organization, and experience in logistics. We offer weekly pay, health and vision coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift 100+ lbs repeatedly.
• Valid license with clean driving record and DOT Medical Card.
• Able to operate across state lines daily.
• Pre-employment drug screening, background check, and medical evaluation required.
• Reliable transportation daily.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck to transport building materials to assigned job sites.
• Load, unload, and secure materials to ensure accurate deliveries.
• Follow designated routes & schedules for on-time deliveries.
• Verify materials upon delivery and document discrepancies.
• Maintain delivery records & log shipments in company systems.
• Conduct pre-trip & post-trip inspections (DVIR) and report issues.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, HOS, and safety policies (ELD).
• Communicate with dispatch and job site personnel.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as staging and organizing materials.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
