Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Driver to safely operate a vehicle for picking up, transporting, and delivering donated goods in the Phoenix area. You must follow safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment at all times.

Competenze

• High School education or equivalent is required.
• Minimum six months intercity driving experience with 5-speed automatic, 26-foot bobtail, or equivalent with air brakes.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Valid drivers' license and clean MVR, plus Medical Examiner's Certificate.

Mansioni

• Safely operates a vehicle to collect, transport and/or deliver donations, processed merchandise and other materials as directed.
• Safeguards donated goods to prevent damage during shipment.
• Assists with unloading of merchandise, minimizing damage to donated materials.
• Acts courteously, handles customer concerns, and resolves and/or escalates when necessary.
• Follows all established policies, procedures and local, county, state and federal laws.
• Performs daily vehicle maintenance checks.
• Ensures daily work requirements are met, maintaining quality and quantity performance.
• May be required to work overtime to complete assigned tasks.
• Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used.
• Unloads vehicles and moves items as required.
• Provides basic direction to Truck Helper, when applicable.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Models Goodwill Core Values - Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
