Job description

Job Details:

• Local Delivery Driver Needed (Bilingual) MUST SPEAK ENGLISH & SPANISH.
• Compensation: $150 a day to start; within a month (30 days), you could earn up to $750-$900 a week.
• Employment type: F/T 40+ hrs., 5 to 6 days a week.
• Wholesale/Distribution Company delivers grocery/drink products to retail and wholesale customers.
• Must have 1+ year of box truck driver experience & a Clean Driving Record.
• Load inventory onto the truck and unload at the customer site; assistance will be provided if pallets need to be broken apart.
• This position is Monday through Friday, sometimes Saturdays.
• Responsibilities include promptness, maintaining a clean truck, checking oil levels/DEF/tire pressure, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Outstanding time and attendance are required.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at each stop.
• Effective communication with the dispatcher is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine vehicle inspections daily to ensure road safety.
• Plan routes to avoid traffic, accidents, and construction sites.
• Handle pick-ups at scheduled times.
• Communicate with clients to confirm receipt and approval of merchandise; report details in the driver group chat.
• Verify merchandise has been received and approved by the client during drop-offs.
• Bonus eligibility for no accidents or traffic tickets within one year.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Comfortable with heavy lifting and independent route organization.
• Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish).
• Must pass drug screening and periodic drug tests.
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment tests if applicable.
• Valid and clean Florida driver's license.
• Experienced in operating manual/electric pallet jacks.
• At least 1+ years of driving experience with box trucks (26 feet or larger).

Continuous physical exertion is required, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering pallets, boxes, carts, or equipment, some of which may be heavy (30+ pounds) or awkward.
