Job Details

Responsibilities

1. Plan and execute delivery activities including preparing delivery loads, following planned delivery routes, and assisting with merchandise installations or returns.
2. Unload, install, and check appliances and store equipment.
3. Maintain cleanliness and standard maintenance of delivery vehicles.
4. Observe safety procedures regarding Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Hazmat, and power equipment tools, including reporting as necessary.

Job Requirements

• Availability during mornings, afternoons, and evenings any day of the week.
• Physical ability to move large, bulky, and heavy merchandise.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Appropriate Driver's License.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 months experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, etc.
• 6 months experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.
