Responsibilities

• Plan and execute delivery activities, including preparing loads, following routes, and assisting with merchandise installations or returns.
• Unload, install, and check appliances and store equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of delivery vehicles.
• Observe safety procedures, including DOT regulations, Hazmat, and power equipment safety, and report issues accordingly.

Requirements

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 months experience operating forklift or similar equipment.
• 6 months experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.

Schedule and Physical Demands

Availability required in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings any day of the week. Must be physically capable of moving large, bulky, or heavy merchandise, and able to stand, sit, and perform other physical activities necessary for the role.
