Job Details

Location: East Providence, RI

Pay Range: $21.50 - $24.75 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Entry level

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute delivery activities, including preparing loads, following routes, and assisting with merchandise installations or returns.
• Unload, install, and check appliances and store equipment.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and safety, complying with DOT regulations, Hazmat, and power equipment safety procedures.

Requirements

• Physical ability to move large, bulky, and heavy merchandise.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 months experience operating forklift or similar equipment.
• 6 months experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.

Additional Information

Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week. Observance of safety procedures and compliance with regulations is mandatory.
