You’ll have the flexibility to manage your schedule and work independently. If you enjoy traveling, this role offers the chance to explore different neighborhoods, cities, and regions within your designated territory.

Position Overview: The Field Admissions Representative finds passionate and motivated students who desire to learn and develop their skills at Universal Technical Institute. This role involves working closely with local high schools to recruit students and build awareness of UTI and its programs. The Representative will work within a territory of approximately 120 miles radius.

The ideal candidate will have a customer-focused, extroverted style that can engage, motivate, and positively impact individuals. They should enjoy making connections, communicating effectively, and proactively establishing relationships. The candidate must be able to follow established guidelines and procedures, work independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and prioritize their schedule to maximize time.

*This is a remote position, requiring the candidate to currently live and travel throughout the San Antonio, TX area*

Responsibilities
  • Building Relationships: Develop new relationships and strengthen existing partnerships with dealerships, industry partners, high schools, and local communities.
  • Events: Conduct in-person presentations at high schools and represent UTI at offsite events.
  • Consultative Mindset: Conduct informative interviews using technical knowledge, maintain CRM database for follow-up.
  • Public Speaking and Presenting: Present to educators and students to promote UTI programs.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of UTI programs, financing, and other relevant information.
  • Metrics: Meet or exceed enrollment goals through outreach and recruitment efforts.
  • Adhere to all compliance criteria and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • Experience: Public speaking preferred; industry knowledge and 3-5 years outside sales experience preferred.
  • Background Check: Must be able to clear a background check, including MVR.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills; comfortable conducting interviews both in person and virtually.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong presentation and sales abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Good understanding of Microsoft Office; ability to analyze and report data.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships, work independently, manage a territory, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
