Overview

You’ll have the flexibility to manage your schedule and work independently. If you enjoy traveling, this role offers the chance to explore different neighborhoods, cities, and regions within your designated territory.

Position Overview: The Field Admissions Representative finds passionate and motivated students eager to learn and develop their skills at Universal Technical Institute. This role involves working closely with local high schools to recruit students and build awareness of UTI and its programs. The Representative will work within a territory of approximately 120 miles radius.

The ideal candidate will have a customer-focused, extroverted style that can engage, motivate, and positively impact individuals. They should enjoy making connections and communicating effectively, proactively establishing relationships, and following established guidelines and procedures. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment while prioritizing schedules to maximize time is essential.

*This is a remote position, however, it requires the candidate to currently live and travel throughout the Dallas, TX area.*

Responsibilities
  • Building Relationships: Develop new relationships and strengthen existing partnerships with dealerships, industry partners, high schools, and local communities.
  • Events: Conduct in-person presentations at high schools and represent UTI at offsite events.
  • Consultative Approach: Conduct informative and professional interviews with prospective students, maintaining CRM database for follow-up.
  • Public Speaking and Presenting: Present to educators at high schools and other educational institutions to promote UTI programs.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of UTI programs, financing options, and other relevant information to answer questions during presentations.
  • Metrics: Meet or exceed enrollment goals through outreach and recruitment efforts. Adhere to compliance criteria and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Experience with public speaking preferred; industry knowledge is a plus; 3-5 years of outside sales experience preferred.
  • Background Check: Must be able to clear a background check, including MVR.
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; presentation and sales skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to analyze and report data; effective relationship-building skills; self-motivated and organized; ability to manage territory and work independently.
