A recycling and logistics company is seeking Local Home Daily CDL A Drivers for the Albany, NY area. You will be responsible for transporting recyclable materials, ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Candidates must have a clean CDL A license and possess excellent safety records. Flexibility for day and evening shifts is required. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Compensation

• Pay: $26.00 – $28.00 / hr based on experience
• OT Available after 40 hours
• Paid weekly

Responsibilities

• Metro Retail Recycling Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transport of baled recyclable materials from the Company's commercial customers to area paper mills.
• Load and unload the vehicle.
• Complete all required paperwork and follow all DOT regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to Company’s customers and maintain communication with the Transportation Manager.
• Be flexible to working day and evening shifts, as well as some Saturdays and holidays based on Company needs.

Requirements

• Clean CDL A License
• Excellent Safety Record
• Experience using an elevated lift and/or Moffett (Willing to Train)
• Ability to work independently and make sound, safe decisions
• Ability to work in all seasonal weather conditions
• Adherence to all DOT and Company policies and procedures
• Flexibility to work day and evening shifts
