Job description

We are looking for a licensed Truck Driver who will be responsible for the loading, transportation, and unloading of local grain and fertilizer using a hopper bottom trailer. Pay range $20-$25 per hour DOE.

D&H Trucking is a small, family-owned trucking company based in Bridgewater, SD, with 14 years of experience transporting agricultural products.

This is a local hauling position, with drivers typically returning home every night. Most work hours are Monday through Friday, approximately 6 am to 6 pm. During seasonal busy times (spring and fall), extra hours may be required. Occasionally, loads may require overnight stays if traveling further from home. Working hours are based on customer and organizational needs and may include long, irregular hours, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons.

Mechanical experience is a plus and is helpful in the shop.

The responsibilities of the position include:

• Reporting any mechanical issues and road incidents immediately to management
• Keeping the inside of the cab clean and organized
• Washing the outside of the truck when time permits
• Completing daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer
• Refueling the vehicle
• Logging loads, miles, and hours daily
