Job summary

XPO is hiring a Local Account Executive to grow a territory, build trusted advisor relationships with customers, and uncover opportunities across accounts. You will lead pricing and contract discussions, collaborate with operations, and drive revenue growth through effective cross-functional teamwork.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of B2B selling experience, with proficiency in PowerPoint and a CRM tool such as Salesforce.

• 1 year of direct B2B selling experience supporting local and national sales.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) and CRM tools.

What you’ll need to succeed as a Local Account Executive at XPO

• Bachelor’s degree, 4 years of related work experience or equivalent military experience
• 1 year of direct business-to-business selling experience supporting both local and national sales efforts
• Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint)
• Experience working with enterprise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
• Available and flexible to work evenings and some weekends as needed
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

• 2 years of direct business-to-business selling experience supporting both local and national sales efforts
• Experience working with Salesforce.com
• Proven track record of success in sales, customer relations and collaborating across multiple business units

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Conduct daily customer-facing meetings to build relationships, uncover business challenges, and identify growth opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
• Drive territory growth by building trusted advisor relationships, uncovering new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts, quantifying business impact, and delivering solutions that support customer objectives.
• Lead customer conversations around pricing, contracts, and service solutions by demonstrating value and driving mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Partner with operations, sales leadership, and service center teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and ensure commitments are executed successfully.
• Collaborate with Customer Support Specialists, Customer Service Representatives, and other internal partners to resolve customer issues, strengthen satisfaction, and support account growth.
• Develop and expand relationships with decision-makers and influencers across customer organizations to uncover opportunities and increase account penetration.
• Translate customer feedback, market intelligence, and sales opportunities into actionable insights for service center and sales leadership teams.
• Drive clear next steps and accountability following customer interactions, advancing opportunities that contribute to revenue growth, customer retention, and long-term partnership success.

Annual Salary Range: $72,220 to $90,274 Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set. This is an incentive-based position, which may include bonuses, incentive or commission plans.
