The position emphasizes adherence to safety, time management, and effective communication with management to handle delays or discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand signs, and complete records.
• Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle.
• Provide (annually) a true copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a list of violations.
• Be physically qualified to drive a commercial vehicle under FMCSA requirements.
• Not be disqualified to drive a CMV under FMCSA.
• Complete or have completed a driver's road test and hold a valid certificate.
• Possible requirement for a CMV license depending on truck/hauler.
• Possible requirement for a valid Medical Exam certificate or card.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Build loads for delivery to customer job sites.
• Operate forklift and maintain yard and warehouse.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized lumber yard.
• Communicate delays or discrepancies with management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
