Job Description

Under the direction of the Asst. Beverage Manager, the Model Server is responsible for serving and expediting guests’ drinks, promoting the lounge, acting as a brand ambassador, entertaining and interacting with clientele, and ensuring the highest levels of guest service. Maintain the original mix as hired to preserve modeling status.

Responsibilities

• Sales ability: focus and sell designed products as selected by management (menu signature drinks, specials, holiday beverages or drinks, wines as selected by management, and other products featured by Marketing).
• Positive, upbeat attitude: maintain the attitude to keep model job code daily.
• Image: enhance the company’s objective by maintaining visual appearance according to department standards.
• Market and promote the lounge; develop a personal clientele list; perform in public relations capacity when promoting the lounge.
• Develop promotional ideas to increase business and revenue opportunities.
• Model designer apparel and accessories; may be required to make costume changes during shift.

Standards

• Uniform is clean, fitted, and maintained; alterations only by approved wardrobe tailor. Female uniforms size 0–8; Male uniforms waist 30"–36" with proportional tops.
• Body presentation should reflect a healthy fit look and be identical to time of hire.
• Appearance should be well prepared; males cleanly shaved or with maintained facial hair; females with styled hair and makeup; be in proper attire at start of shift.

Failure To Maintain Standards

• 1st violation: Coaching and Counseling document.
• 2nd violation: Record of Discussion with 30-day remediation.
• 3rd violation: removal of model job code status and reassignment to a similar role.

Uniform Exceptions

• Exceptions may be made for approved circumstances; notify management and HR. Accommodations may include pregnancy or other disability-related needs as required by law.
• Return from LOA: up to 8 weeks to comply with standards.
• Fit and appearance determined by department and HR leadership based on standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Adhere to Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole policies.
• Take guest orders, serve drinks, and handle cash efficiently.
• Promote lounge services; build a personal clientele; act in PR capacity.
• Develop promotional ideas to increase business and revenue.
• Model designer apparel; may change costumes during shift.
• Interact with guests to create a memorable experience and build loyalty.
• Maintain service standards; coordinate requests and ensure safety awareness; report irregularities or complaints.
• Assist in training new team members; follow check settlement procedures; may participate in a professional photo shoot.
• Act as a role model and promote responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.

• Report illegal acts or ethics violations; meet attendance requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; 1 year beverage/cocktail service; nightclub/entertainment experience preferred; modeling/promotions experience within last 5 years required; upscale gaming lounge experience preferred.
• Physical requirements: ability to wear uniform; ability to wear designed clothing and costumes; ability to work all shifts in a 24-hour operation if assigned.

Work Environment

• Stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds; vision and sensory requirements as described; casino environment is fast-paced with potential smoke and noise exposure; communicate effectively in English with diverse guests.

The Tribal Council gives preference in employment to Native Americans; second preference to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes.
