Job summary

TPG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Lobby Attendant to clean lobby, restrooms, and public areas in a hotel setting, ensuring compliance with policies, brand standards, and safety regulations. You will report emergencies and deviations to management and assist with related housekeeping duties as needed.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and strong communication with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or related role is a plus.
• Attention to detail, thoroughness and knowledge in proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete assigned rooms, organize housekeeping carts, and all other assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Basic understanding of safety and sanitation practices.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Walk all assigned spaces at beginning and end of shift, remove newspapers, trash, empty ash receptacles and note areas needing cleaning.
• Clean public areas including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, glass cleaning and trash removal; clean public elevators and restrooms; stock supplies.
• Perform quality checks on public space televisions, telephones and lamps.
• Clean offices as assigned; use cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Promptly report emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, mechanical problems and safety hazards to housekeeping management.
• Turn in to housekeeping management all articles left in public spaces for entry into Lost and Found.
• Perform duties of Houseperson, Room Attendant or Laundry Attendant as assigned.

Job description

The Lobby Attendant cleans lobby, restrooms and public areas in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state and local regulations. Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items and safety hazards to management. Reports any deviations from policies, procedures, brand standards and regulations to management.

What You'll be doing

• Walk all assigned spaces at beginning and end of shift. Remove newspapers, trash, empty ash receptacles and note any areas that require immediate cleaning.
• Clean assigned public areas including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, glass cleaning and trash removal. Clean public elevators. Clean public restrooms and stock with supplies. Perform quality check on public space televisions, telephones and lamps.
• Clean offices as assigned.
• Appropriate and proper use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Prompt reports to housekeeping management of all emergencies, injuries, missing articles, damage, mechanical problems and safety hazards.
• Prompt turn in to housekeeping management of all articles left in public spaces for entry into Lost and Found.
• Perform duties of Houseperson, Room Attendant or Laundry Attendant as assigned.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:

Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines.
