Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Loan Underwriters and manage production of new loan applications.
• Validate loan data against provided documentation for accuracy.
• Develop and administer a portfolio by analyzing applications and credit reports.
• Stay within lending limits while seeking profitable loan opportunities.
• Provide training and guidance to junior underwriters.
• Resolve customer and branch issues in compliance with laws and policies.
• Ensure lien perfection and insurance as part of loan risk management.
• Collaborate with processors and branches to improve customer satisfaction.
• Support year-end reviews and performance feedback.
