The Opportunity

The Loan Setup and Disclosures Supervisor plays a pivotal role as a hands-on leader, guiding and engaging with the loan setup and disclosures team in their daily operations. This dynamic position is crucial for ensuring tasks are completed with precision, speed, and within established timeframes, while actively managing files and processes. The supervisor will oversee training, handle escalations, streamline workflows across departments and external partners, and identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

Position Details

This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity with competitive pay ranging from $25.74 to $31.46 per hour.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Team Oversight and Workflow Management: Supervise the loan setup and disclosures team by managing pipeline flow, assigning daily tasks, and ensuring all files are processed within service levels. Monitor capacity and adjust workloads accordingly.
  2. File Management and Task Execution: Process loans, review submissions, issue disclosures, and prepare Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures. Maintain expertise in department functions.
  3. Escalation Handling and Cross-Team Coordination: Serve as escalation point, collaborate with operations and sales to resolve issues, and communicate effectively across departments.
  4. Training, Quality Control, and Process Guidance: Provide ongoing training, review outputs for accuracy and compliance, and offer feedback for performance improvement.
  5. Compliance and Disclosure Oversight: Ensure disclosure packages are accurate and timely, complying with TRID regulations, change of circumstance events, and correct calculations.
  6. Outsourcing and Vendor Management: Coordinate with offshore and outsourced teams to meet standards, address performance gaps, and maintain quality.
  7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce errors, and enhance operational efficiency, collaborating with leadership for implementation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in loan setup, disclosures, or document drawing, with supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
  • Experience in wholesale mortgage channel is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of TRID regulations, change of circumstance guidelines, and timing requirements.
  • Proficiency with issuing disclosures and reviewing loan packages for compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of cash to close calculations, credits, and reductions.
  • High computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office; experience with Encompass is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage staff and contribute individually with a proactive approach to process improvement.
