PCAP is seeking to hire a seasoned, highly organized, and detail-oriented loan servicing professional who brings deep expertise in complex loans, commercial loan documentation, participation loans, and loan fund management.
This is a full-time, hybrid position located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Board new and modified loans in the loan servicing platform with precision and meticulous attention to detail.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for borrowers and PCAP lending staff for general loan questions.
- Enter payments and disbursements into the loan servicing platform in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain tickler system for collecting covenant reports, financial statements, UCC expirations, insurance certificates, and compliance.
- Prepare collateral release documents for paid in full loans, including but not limited to UCC Terminations, Deed of Trust and/or Mortgage Satisfactions, and Collateral Assignments of Life Insurance.
- Prepare weekly property tax delinquency reports to provide to borrowers, the lending team, and portfolio management.
- Track ongoing payment of identified delinquent property taxes and insurance coverage.
- Assists with month-end reconciliation duties as assigned.
- Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual loan servicing and capital summary reports.
- Prepares payoff quotes for borrowers and closing agents and reviews payoffs prepared by internal colleagues for accuracy.
- Performs file maintenance in core system, including but not limited to, interest rate changes, amortization schedules, and address changes.
- Prepare Change in Term Agreements in LaserPro for all approved loan modifications, including work-out or troubled debt modifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in loan origination, mortgage services, or commercial lending analysis within a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of lending processes, including TILA compliance, FNMA guidelines, and banking regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes; familiarity with financial software is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills combined with 10 key typing proficiency for accurate data entry and calculations.
- Understanding of financial sales strategies and client communication techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze risk and credit aspects of commercial lending while ensuring adherence to financial compliance standards.
- Experience in team leadership or mentoring roles within a lending or banking setting is a plus.
- At least 5 years of commercial loan servicing experience.
