Job summary

Regions is seeking a Loan Servicing Escrow Specialist to maintain escrow accounts within the loan servicing group. You will perform escrow analysis, audit vendors, and ensure timely processing of taxes and insurance.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, with preference for 1 year of loan servicing experience. Regular in-office schedule, with training hours Monday–Friday, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Receives and provides escrow analysis.

• Monitors flood insurance for escrowed loans.
• Ensures compliance with risk management and cybersecurity practices.
• Communicates with customers to answer escrow questions.

Job Description:

At Regions, the Loan Servicing Escrow Specialist maintains escrow accounts administered by the loan servicing group.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receives and provides escrow analysis in accordance with the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Federal Housing Authority (FHA) guidelines
• Audits vendors including tax, flood, hazard, and other escrow vendors
• Completes escrow processing including timely payment of taxes and insurance, customer statements, and annual analysis
• Completes escrow research requests
• Monitors and tracks flood insurance for escrowed loans
• Applies and enforces compliance/regulatory matters
• Communicates with customers to assist with various escrow questions as needed
• Investigates and clears outages on general ledger accounts
• Ensures accuracy and integrity of escrow trailers on loans
• Processes private mortgage insurance (PMI) waivers and payments
• Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
