Job Description

We are seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in syndicated and bilateral loan servicing, Asset Based Lending, and client-facing operations and a proven ability to deliver accurate deal execution, reconcile complex cash movements, and administer a consistent servicing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide deal origination and execution support to Asset Based Lending deal teams as the primary servicing contact for internal and external clients.
• Administer the customer experience and resolve issues for borrowers, lenders, and partners.
• Provide feedback to deal structuring teams on operational trends and feasibility.
• Read and interpret complex legal credit agreements and related documentation, engaging attorneys when required.
• Perform quality control on new deals, restructures, and amendments, verifying system setup accuracy against the credit agreement.
• Oversee loan activity including fundings, re-pricings, and payments per credit agreement instructions.
• Calculate and track complex interest and fee accruals across changing lender distributions.
• Reconcile daily funding and payment activity, initiate and reconcile automated funds movement, and monitor and escape past due principal, interest, and fees.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of Commercial or Asset Based Lending experience.
• 1-2 years of demonstrated customer service experience in client-facing settings.
• Thorough understanding of Treasury products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and operate independently.
• Strong analytical thinker able to connect data and systems and articulate client impact.
• Strong organizational skills to manage high-volume, deadline-driven work and meet SLAs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.
• Self-starter with initiative and effective communication habits.
• Ability to read and interpret syndicated or bilateral credit agreements pre and post close.

Preferred Skills

Loan servicing experience of at least 1.5 years in syndicated loans. Experience with LoanIQ. Background managing a client portfolio base.

Additional Details

Work location: Charlotte, NC. In-office presence: 5 days. Work schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Overtime required during month, quarter, and year end. Interview process: Up to 2 rounds via Zoom. Post conversion grade: 601. Not eligible for employer sponsored immigration support post conversion. Disqualifiers: Mortgage-only background, less than one year of experience, no client-facing experience.
