Job summary

Faropoint, established in 2012, seeks a Senior Associate to join the Fund Finance team and oversee day-to-day accounting and loan servicing for the debt investment platform. You will handle interest billing, borrower payments, lender reporting, and fund-level accounting with a CRE focus.

The role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and experience with commercial real estate loans; collaboration with asset management, acquisitions, legal, and external service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of progressive accounting or loan servicing experience.
• Proficiency in Excel with complex formulas and financial modeling.
• Experience with Yardi or Debt Manager.
• Familiarity with credit facility reporting and borrowing base certificates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly interest billing statements and SOFR-based calculations.
• Track loan-level payments and monitor delinquencies.
• Maintain loan servicing system records including balances, escrow, and amendments.
• Process draw requests, paydowns, and payoffs with asset management and legal.
• Prepare monthly closes and loan-level trial balances.
• Prepare quarterly covenant packages and assist with audits.
