Job summary

Southern Bank is seeking a detail-oriented loan documents specialist at our PB Vine Branch in Poplar Bluff, MO. You will create documents for consumer, real estate, and commercial loans and ensure proper approvals before processing into the core system.

Responsibilities include capturing new customer data, maintaining loan document tracking, and HMDA data entry into the LAR, along with assisting flood program management and other related tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience or knowledge in loan processing is preferred but not required.
• Good interpersonal communication and computer skills are expected.
• Highly attentive to detail and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Strong typing skills for accurate document creation.

• Checks and insures that all proper authority has been received to create the documents.
• Inputs the new loan information and new customer information into the core system.
• Maintains the document tracking for certain loans.
• Inputs HMDA information into the LAR.
• Assists with flood program management; and,
• Assists with miscellaneous other job duties.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB

Create all types of loan documents for the loan processing department as well as uploading loan data and new customer information to the bank’s core system.
