Job summary

Lebanon Federal Credit Union is seeking a Loan Processor to serve as a liaison between members and the credit union, promoting products and handling consumer, indirect, and home equity loan operations in accordance with policies. Basic account knowledge is required and a focus on delivering accurate, timely service.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in lending or member services preferred but not required.
• Ability to cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Consumer, Indirect, and Home Equity loan operations.
• Process, close, fund, and service loan types; order appraisals and lien searches.
• Greet members and provide accurate information about products and policies.
• Take loan applications and set up files; cross-sell applicable services.

Job Summary

Serve as a liaison between the member andLebanon FederalCredit Union.Promoteasaleand service culture by actively recommending all credit union products and effectively meeting themembers’needsinaccordancewithestablished policies and procedures.Must be well versed in allloan departmentproducts,procedures, and policies.Providememberswith adviceregardingtheir financial matters.Promotethecredit union philosophy andobjectives.Basic account knowledgeisrequired.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Loan Processoris expected to have an in-depth understanding of and is primarily responsible forassistingin theConsumer,Indirect, and Home Equity loan operations of the Loan Department.

• Responsible for all aspects of helping process, close, fund, and service all loan types. Such duties include but are not limited to ordering reports (appraisals, lien searches, flood searches, title insurance), processing loan payments, setting up loans for automatic payments,researchingand reconciling loans, calling for insurance verification, funding indirect loans,etc.…

• Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a courteous,professional,andtimelymanner, providing prompt,accurateand efficienttransactionsand service.

• Provide in-person and by-telephone/email general and specificservice-relatedinformation concerning credit unionproducts,services,or policies.Respond to member requests, problems or complaints or direct them to theappropriate personfor specific information andassistance.

• Take new loan applicationsand service existingloanaccounts.Promote and cross-sell products and services based on member needs.Set up newloanfiles and provide members with all necessary information fortheir loanrelated requests.

• Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledgeofall credit union products and services that are handled or promoted by aLoan Processor.Maintainup-to-date and comprehensive knowledgeofall related policies, procedures,rules,and regulations.

• Promote, explainand cross-sell other credit union services such as electronic services(Access Digital/Bill Payer/e-Statements),iTALK(Audio),debit and credit cards, line of credit, consumer loan products,real estate loans,IRA’s,direct deposit,payroll deduction,money orders, safe deposit boxes, etc.

• Adheres to allpoliciesand proceduresset forthby the Credit Union.

• AssistSenior Loan Manager, Underwriters, Branch Manager, and Assistant Branch Managerwithanydutiesassigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma

• Previousrelated experience in thelending ormember service function of a credit unionor other financial institution is preferred but notrequired.

• High levelof knowledge and proceduralexpertiseof allcredit union services and products isrequired.

• Basic computerskillsandfamiliarity with MicrosoftWindowsarerequired. Intermediate mathematical skills, provenwritten,and verbal communicationsarerequired.

• Ability to cross-sell credit union products and services.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multifunctional tasks.
