Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of consumer lending experience in processing or customer service.
• In-depth knowledge of loans and lending guidelines.
• Detailed knowledge of processing, underwriting and closing procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of loan application and underwriting systems.
• Previous experience managing a pipeline required.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration via NMLS required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact customers to collect documents needed to underwrite applications.
• Explain products and policies clearly to ensure understanding.
• Evaluate loan documentation, review income documents, analyze data, and clear conditions per delegated authority (credit and non credit documents).
• Manage the loan pipeline and coordinate between client, underwriting, and financial centers.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email and maintain timely communication.
• Support consumer lending centers and training of new staff.
• Enter issues into CIT and maintain accurate loan data.
• Act as a Trusted Advisor in customer interactions.
• Support continuous improvement of customer service for internal and external customers.
