Job summary

Stillman Bank in Illinois is seeking a Commercial/Consumer/ Agricultural Loan Processor to prepare and process loan documentation in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with lenders and Relationship Manager Associates to ensure loan files are complete, accurate, and properly documented prior to closing and funding, coordinating with appraisal vendors, title companies, attorneys and other third parties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s in business/finance preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in loan processing, loan operations, or related banking experience.
• Experience with commercial, agricultural, and consumer loan documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan documentation for commercial, consumer, and agricultural loans.
• Review requests to ensure all information and approvals are complete.
• Coordinate with lenders, RMAs, appraisers, title companies, attorneys, and others as needed.
• Verify collateral documentation, insurance, lien perfection, and closing conditions.
• Ensure documentation complies with policy, regulations, and underwriting approvals.
• Prepare and organize closing packages for accuracy.
• Assist with renewals, modifications, extensions, and maintenance.
• Track outstanding items and communicate status updates.
• Maintain organized loan files per retention standards.
• Coordinate with Loan Accounting and Loan Operations for boarding and funding.
• Support audits, loan reviews, and examinations.
• Maintain knowledge of lending regulations and procedures.
• Perform other duties and special projects.
