AgSouth Farm Credit is seeking a Loan Processing Coordinator to join our team. The role involves preparing loan documents, disclosures, and closing papers, coordinating with third parties, and supporting the loan closing process in collaboration with the loan officer.

You will also provide customer service support, ensure accurate daily accounting activities, and assist with routine branch operations. The position may be located in Rural Hall, NC, Pilot Mountain, NC, or Laurens, SC.

Job description

We are seeking a Loan Processing Coordinator to join our Farm Credit family!This position delivers outstanding service which exceeds customer expectations through processing pre-loan closing activities, creating and disbursing proceeds, completing file documentation, and ensuring procedures are followed to deliver loans with accurate and compliant legal documentation. The Loan Processing Coordinator willcollaborate and work as a team with the branch location to meet the needs of the customer. This includes providingloan processing, operational backup support, and administrative assistance in the branch location. This position may be located in Rural Hall, NC, Pilot Mountain, NC or Laurens, SC.

Responsibilities

1. Lending Loan Processing Support:Support the sales/lending staff by preparing and verifying loan documents, commitment letters, loan disclosures, closing papers, loan treatments and other required time-sensitive information prior to loan closings. Communicate and act as liaison with third parties (attorneys, appraisers, insurance agents) and support the loan closing process in collaboration with loan officer.
2. Customer Service Support:Ensure existing and potential customers receive prompt, courteous service, and provides general information as to policies and procedures.Ensure daily accounting activities including receipts and disbursements are handled properly, accurately, and timely.Complete system maintenance of customer or loan information as needed.
3. Location/Administrative Support:Assist with general administrative duties to support the operations of the branch location. Ensure that internal controls are maintained in accordance with loan operations and accounting principles, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 0-3 years related work experience
• Good knowledge of general office routine and use of office equipment, including phones, computers, copiers, and scanners
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and branch contacts
• Self-motivatedwith the ability and desire to learn and willingness to apply new procedures and concepts
• Completes routine tasks accurately and timely
• Effective, basic, and efficient computer/technical skills and use of Microsoft Office programs
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Has robust follow-up system to ensure loan support administration and follow-up
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently and on a team with minimal instruction
• Ability to travel overnight as needed for learning and development activities
