Specializing in providing financing options, including SBA microloans and Community Advantage 7a loans, we support entrepreneurs who may face challenges accessing conventional funding. As a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and SBA lender, we focus on serving women, minority entrepreneurs, and those with limited credit or collateral. UCEDC also offers free and low-cost training programs, mentorship opportunities, and assistance with government procurement through our Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC). Over the past decade, we have provided more than $20 million in loans, trained over 10,000 entrepreneurs, and helped clients secure $1.5 billion in government contracts.
Job Function
This position is responsible for execution and/or assistance of tasks related to management and maintenance of UCEDC’s loan portfolio of SBA 504, 7A Community Advantage, Microloan, etc.
Accountability
This position reports to the Portfolio Manager and works with the accounting and lending staff to implement and maintain various systems and reporting requirements.
Ideal candidate should exhibit high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to seeing things through.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
This position is primarily responsible for the maintenance of complete and organized physical and electronic loan files. The Loan Portfolio Assistant will maintain a knowledge-base on the current rules and compliance regulations and requirements associated with the SBA loan programs.
