Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is seeking a Portfolio Manager in Fresno, California. Under the direction of the VP of Lending, this role oversees loan servicing and portfolio operations with a focus on maintaining relationships and ensuring compliance with loan agreements.
The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in finance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team. The position requires working with various stakeholders to maintain the quality of loans and support the growth of small businesses.

Under the direction of the VP of Lending, the Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day operations of loan servicing and loan portfolios of APC. Works with the loan servicing team to ensure collection of loan payments from all current and potential borrowers and credit enhancement submissions. The Portfolio Manager manages borrower relationships, conducts financial analysis, completes the underwriting and restructuring of loans, as well as provides technical assistance to support the success of borrowers and the health of the loan portfolio. The role requires creative structuring and resourceful relationships and partnership development to succeed in maintaining the quality of the portfolio.

EDUCATION:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required. Additional work experience may substitute required education on a year‑by‑year basis.
EXPERIENCE:Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in finance/banking sector with small businesses with increased responsibility and supervisory experience required.
Minimum of one (1) year of Commercial Loan portfolio management, loan restructuring and credit analysis, and collections and recovery experience required.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience managing and developing staff, including performance management, coaching, and team leadership.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:Strong understanding of Small Business Administration (SBA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and government guarantee and/or credit enhancement program rules, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Understanding of business financial statements.
Strong problem‑solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.
Ability to work with different teams and provide leadership skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and contacts with professional and business organizations and develop teamwork with co‑workers on related units.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related business software. Ability to learn new database systems.
Effective presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
Willing to work non‑traditional hours and days to meet the needs of this position.
Maintain a valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, adequate auto insurance as required by State law, and insurability by Access Plus Capital carrier for those driving personal vehicles on behalf of the organization.
Prior to employment, a criminal background investigation and credit history check must be passed. Ongoing employment requires maintaining criminal clearance, an acceptable credit history, and eligibility to participate in Small Business Administration (SBA) Loan Programs.
