Location : Remote but must reside in EST

Job Type : Full-Time

Position Overview :

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Loan Partner (LP) to join our high-performing mortgage team. This is a pivotal role in our loan process, designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You'll play a key role in guiding borrowers through the initial stages of the mortgage journey, setting the stage for a seamless handoff to our Loan Officers (LOs). For qualified and experienced candidates, leadership and team oversight opportunities are available with additional override bonuses.

Key Responsibilities : Loan Partner Responsibilities :

Initiate contact with borrowers during the initial inquiry stage

Guide borrowers through the application process, including sending online application links

Pull and review credit reports; run Desktop Underwriter (DU)

Calculate borrower income and structure loans to identify the most favorable program

Pre-approve borrowers and hand off to Loan Officer for full loan consultation

Conduct weekly follow-ups with pre-approved clients to maintain engagement

Upon receipt of executed contracts, prepare file for initial disclosures

Coordinate handoff to disclosure team and processor to move file to closing Team Lead / Manager Responsibilities :

Oversee a team of Loan Partners and monitor their pipeline

Provide mentorship and quality assurance across files

Earn override bonuses on all team files Qualifications :

2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry (preferred)

Familiarity with loan origination systems, credit, DU, and income calculation

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment

Leadership or management experience a plus (for team lead roles)
