Under the direction of the Branch and/or Production Manager, markets and promotes PrimeLending products and services to its client base of realtors, builders, bank officers, and potential and past clients. Performs office or non-manual work directly related to the management or general business operations of PrimeLending and its customers.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates PrimeLending’s and other loan products and services to determine which financial products best meet the customer’s needs and financial circumstances.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and new home sales representatives to develop and retain existing business, including visiting subdivisions as required.
- Markets and promotes PrimeLending’s financial products.
- Meets the Company’s minimum production standards in funded units/volume each month by taking complete and accurate loan applications using PrimeLending’s product set.
- Monitors customer interactions and interfaces with all parties involved from application to closing, including counseling and pre-qualifying potential home buyers.
- Collects and analyzes customer income, assets, investments, or debts information.
- Advises customers on the advantages and disadvantages of different loan products.
- Services existing customers and obtains necessary support documents, fees, and lock-in information.
- Oversees the loan process by monitoring status and ensuring conformity with terms.
- Communicates loan status to all interested parties and obtains documentation after closing.
- Presents loan terms and conditions to customers.
- Stays updated on local real estate market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
- Maintains a professional image and adheres to company policies and procedures.
- May supervise and direct activities of other loan officers, assistants, or processors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; appropriate licenses as required by the state.
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile liability insurance.
- Minimum of 12 months loan originator experience.
- Ability to interact with regional & corporate departments, realtors, sales agents, builders, appraisers, etc.
- Judgment and decision-making skills; effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to process large amounts of data and use relevant software technology.
- Active community involvement and participation in job-related organizations.
- Ongoing knowledge expansion of industry issues and organizational factors.
