Job summary

CIBC in Chicago, IL is hiring a loan services specialist to support daily operations including processing payments, advances, check preparation and reconciliations. You will work with IBS (Metavante) and ACBS loan systems to ensure accurate processing and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and organized with at least 1 year of similar loan service experience.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of IBS (Metavante) and ACBS loan system or similar loan applications.

Responsibilities

• Processing payments and advances.
• Performing system maintenance and reviewing reports.
• Processing payoffs and preparing cashier's checks for loan advances.
• Monitoring unapplied/rejected funds and reconciling items.
• Investigating and resolving open reconciliation items.

Position Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and organized with at least 1 year of similar loan service experience.
• Must possess strong computer skills and have working knowledge of IBS (Metavante) and ACBS loan system or other comparable loan applications.

• Escalating matters that can result in adverse market practices and outcomes, thereby negatively impacting CIBC’s reputation as a leading financial institution

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $55,000 - $60,000
• Eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component
