About the Opportunity:

A well-established, publicly traded California commercial banking institution is looking for a dynamic Loan Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day servicing activities within its residential lending division. This role drives operational excellence across payment processing, investor reporting, tax and insurance escrows, and end-to-end regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing loan servicing team while establishing performance standards and development paths.

Maintain full operational alignment with federal and state lending rules, including TRID, RESPA, SCRA, GLBA, and BSA/AML.

Direct monthly escrow balancing, tax tracking, insurance compliance, and investor reporting workflows.

Collaborate with Treasury, Accounting, and Secondary Marketing groups on loan trade reconciliation and servicing handoffs.

Spearhead internal audit preparedness, quality control checks, and process enhancement initiatives across servicing workflows.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.

7+ years of experience in loan servicing operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management capacity.

Demonstrated subject matter expertise in residential loan mechanics; familiarity with commercial servicing is an asset.

Strong background with core banking/servicing platforms (such as FIS, Black Knight, or Synergy) alongside advanced Excel skills.
