Job description

Our client, a leading financial institution based in New York, NY, is seeking a Transaction Analyst to support its Loan Agency and syndicated lending operations. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to gain exposure to transaction management, closings, and post-close administration, with the opportunity to grow into a Transaction Manager role.

Responsibilities:

• Support syndicated loan transactions from closing through ongoing post-close administration
• Coordinate loan closings, including account setup, KYC documentation, funding requirements, and transaction onboarding
• Set up and process payments, fees, interest, and other transaction-related cash flows
• Manage ongoing client and lender requests, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
• Prepare and distribute statements, notices, and other transaction-related reporting
• Maintain accurate loan, lender, and transaction information across internal systems
• Partner with borrowers, lenders, internal operations teams, and other stakeholders to resolve transaction and servicing issues
• Provide ongoing administrative agent support throughout the lifecycle of syndicated loan facilities

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in loan agency, syndicated loans, transaction management, loan operations, or financial services operations
• Exposure to loan closings, post-close administration, KYC/account opening, or payment processing
• Strong client service and operational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and INDEX-MATCH
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred
