Job summary

loanDepot is seeking an experienced Training Specialist to develop, administer and deliver our ACES training program for employees. You will manage online and classroom initiatives, ensuring materials stay current with operational processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include designing training solutions, measuring effectiveness, and coordinating with HR for onboarding and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a loan originator is required.
• Mortgage banking/originations experience is required.
• Loan officer training experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, administer and deliver training for loanDepot ACES program including online and classroom formats.
• Coordinate with HR and Recruiting to train new hires and ongoing staff.
• Develop and maintain training materials: slides, guides and assessments.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update materials to match process changes.
• Track enrollment, progress and reporting for each class.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to update content and ensure on-time delivery.

Position Summary

Responsible for the development, administration and delivery of all approved training programs (on-line and classroom) for loanDepot ACES training program. Additionally, responsible for maintaining standards; meeting prescribed timelines and budgetary objectives; exuding proactive abilities to work, while continuously improving the learning process for loanDepot employees. Ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports and promotes loanDepot’s core values, statement of purpose, strategies, and reward compensation models; understands and complies with best practices.
• Works in conjunction with Human Resources and Recruiting departments to deliver new hire, on-boarding, and ongoing training of employees.
• Responsible for the design, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing maintenance of classroom and online training solutions; measures the effectiveness of training and education solutions.
• Determines and implements best delivery methods and approaches for materials; conducts front-end analysis to determine user needs and assess performance gaps.
• Delivers high-quality online and paper-based materials including slides, participant guides, instructor guides and assessments.
• Responsible for the enrollment, tracking and reporting process for each class.
• Maintains existing materials to ensure they are in-line and up-to-date with operational processes, systems, and products.
• Partners with a variety of subject matter experts to identify training needs, content, and content updates; interfaces with employees and managers to assure on time delivery and accuracy of materials.
• Maintains knowledge of current training techniques: researches new/better ways to promote the internal training.
• Responsible for using integrity when using the performance review system.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one (1) + years of experience as a loan originator required.
• Mortgage banking/mortgage origination experience required.
• Loan officer training experience preferred.

Base salary is one piece of our total rewards package and is structured within a range so you can progress as you grow in the role. For this position, the anticipated annual base salary range is $63,000 to $87,000 nationally. In certain high-cost geographic markets (CA), the anticipated annual base salary range is $70,000 to $95,500. Actual compensation will depend on your skills, experience, qualifications, and the work location tied to our geographic pay structure.
