Inspire Home Loans (a Century Communities, Inc. affiliated company) is seeking an experienced Loan Officer to join the team supporting our homebuilder in Florida. This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining customer financing objectives, advising customers on product/pricing policies and guidelines, and gathering required information. The Loan Officer will ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements.

Position Details

• This position is remote, but candidates must reside in Florida.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Collect and analyze customers' financial information to assess loan eligibility, in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Advise potential borrowers on risks and benefits of various loan options.
• Discuss available loan products to meet individual needs.
• Gather all necessary documentation for loan approval.
• Communicate effectively with customers, sales, processing, underwriting, closing, title companies, and builders.
• Lock the rate and manage personal production to ensure timely closings.
• Meet or exceed company standards and demonstrate professionalism and customer service excellence.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of loan types including Conventional, FHA, Jumbo, and VA.
• Prior builder experience preferred.
• Proficiency with loan origination systems (Encompass preferred) and AUS (LP, DU, GUS).
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• First-time homebuyer experience is a plus.
• Ability to handle a heavy workload with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Independent, reliable, detail-oriented, organized, and bilingual in Spanish (preferred).

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of loan origination experience, builder experience preferred.
• Active FL Mortgage Loan Officer license; willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed.
