What You'll Do

Inspire Home Loans (a Century Communities, Inc. affiliated company) is seeking an experienced Loan Officer to support our Florida homebuilder. This position is remote, but candidates must reside in Florida. Responsibilities include assessing financial information, advising on loan options, discussing available products, collecting documentation, communicating effectively with all parties, locking rates, managing production, and ensuring timely closings, all while maintaining high professionalism and customer service standards. Perform other duties as needed.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

1. Collect and analyze customer financial info to determine loan eligibility, following policies and law.
2. Advise borrowers on risks and benefits of loan options.
3. Discuss suitable loan products based on individual circumstances.
4. Gather all necessary documentation for loan approval.
5. Communicate effectively with customers, sales, processing, underwriting, closing, title, and builders.
6. Lock the interest rate.
7. Manage personal production and oversee timely closings.
8. Meet or exceed company standards.
9. Provide professional and high-quality customer service.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Have

• Thorough knowledge of loan types: Conventional, FHA, Jumbo, VA.
• Builder experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with loan origination systems, preferably Encompass.
• Experience with AUS (LP, DU, GUS).
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Experience with first-time homebuyers is a plus.
• Ability to handle a heavy workload independently.
• Willingness to travel interstate as needed.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, organized, and independent.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Your Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of loan origination experience, builder experience preferred.
• Active FL Mortgage Loan Officer license; willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed.
