Job summary

Midwest Heritage Bank, FSB is seeking a Loan Officer in Iowa to solicit, negotiate and coordinate consumer loan closings in compliance with lending policies and procedures, while promoting business through customer relations and referrals.

The candidate will hold a finance/business-related bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience (mortgage lending preferred), and an active NMLS license; Iowa notary status may be required; regional Hy-Vee branch visits are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, marketing or related field with two plus years of related experience (direct mortgage lending experience strongly preferred).
• Must have an active Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) number. NMLS number must be maintained and all requirements adhered too.
• Ability to obtain Iowa Notary license.

Responsibilities

• Develops, negotiates, and coordinates the closing of consumer loans.
• Interviews loan applicants and collects and analyzes financial and related data to determine credit worthiness.
• Ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and meets monthly loan production goals.
• Sells and markets the bank’s loan and deposit products through personal interaction with Hy-Vee and subsidiary employees.
• Promotes business by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.

Will consider combination of experience and/or education in lieu of degree.Must have an active Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) number. NMLS number must be maintained and all requirements adhered too.
