Northwest Plus Credit Union in Everett, WA is seeking a Consumer Loan Officer to provide exceptional service and expand loan relationships. You will process loan applications from origination through funding, read credit reports, and ensure compliance with lending policies.

The position requires 2+ years of lending background or a high school diploma, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of lending background preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills, customer service, verbal and written communication.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and highly organized with proven follow-through capabilities.
• Familiarity with credit union systems preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database software.

POSITION TITLE: Consumer Loan Officer

SALARY: $23-$28 hourly

SUMMARY:

Provide exceptional service to our members and expand consumer loan relationships by handling member and indirect loan applications. Accurately and efficiently, process loan applications, from origination through funding.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inputting loan applications, review and process online applications.
• Ability to read and understand credit reports.
• Complete Consumer Loan Underwriting within assigned personal limits and guidelines.
• Scan loan documents into imaging system.
• Familiarize with and adhere to Lending & CU policies and procedures.
• Represent the credit union in a courteous, honest and professional manner while maintaining confidentiality with all member data.
• Must be able to work independently and handle multiple priorities under pressure of deadlines and time restraints.
• Ability to; multi task, set priorities, demonstration proficient attention to details, meet deadlines and be well organized.
• Be familiar with and adhere to Consumer Loan rules and regulations.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

Performs assigned duties with minimal direct supervision once proper training is completed.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

2+ years of lending background preferred.
