Role Description

The Loan Officer role at Extraco Banks is a full-time, on-site position based in Texas. This role is responsible for originating and managing consumer and commercial loan applications, meeting with customers to understand their financial needs, and recommending appropriate loan products. Day-to-day tasks include assessing creditworthiness, analyzing financial information, preparing loan proposals, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Loan Officer will maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout the loan process, coordinate with internal underwriting and processing teams, and actively build a portfolio through referrals and local business development. Success in this role involves delivering clear guidance to customers, managing deadlines efficiently, and supporting overall branch performance and growth.
