Scope of Responsibilities

• Market and promote the suite of Assurance residential products.
• Meet and exceed the company's minimum production standards by taking complete and accurate loan applications.
• Establish and maintain relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and other referral sources to develop new business and retain existing clients.
• Monitor overall customer satisfaction from application to closing, including counseling and pre-qualifying potential home buyers.
• Collect and analyze information regarding customers' income, assets, investments, and debts.
• Evaluate customers' needs to determine the best financial products for them.
• Advise customers on different loan products’ advantages and disadvantages.
• Obtain necessary application and underwriting documents, fees, and lock-in information.
• Oversee the loan process, monitor status, and ensure compliance with terms.
• Communicate loan status to all interested parties.
• Negotiate loan terms with customers.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and changes in mortgage rules.
• Maintain a professional image and adhere to company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of loan originator experience required for Loan Originator; at least 5 years for Senior Loan Originator.
• Ability to interact with regional and corporate departments, realtors, builders, etc.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to process large data sets and use AU software technology.
• Active participation in community and professional organizations to expand networks.
