Job summary

The bank is hiring a Loan Document Processor who will prepare closing documents for new, renewed, and modified loans in accordance with the established loan policies and procedures.

Education Level
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • 1 year or more of consumer or commercial loan experience

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Advises the Loan Officer of missing/incomplete information. Verifies and requires that all loans submitted for documentation have been properly approved.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and expertise of general bank accounting procedures and supports the Company’s overall mission, standards, policies and procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Ensures that the loan file is complete and accurate before loan closing.
  • Interacts in a professional, courteous manner with customers, co-workers, vendors, etc.
  • Maintain company attendance standards.
  • Maintain personal grooming and company dress and appearance standards.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality guidelines in accordance with Company policy.
  • Prepares all documents required to perfect a lien on collateral securing the loan and to close a loan on time. These documents will include promissory notes, security agreements, Uniform Commercial Codes, mortgage/deed of trust, guaranty agreements, and other supporting documents required.
  • Reviews all information submitted by loan officers using an established checklist for new, renewal, modification, and adverse action requests to ensure proper documentation, including loan data collection for HMDA/CRA/Small Business lending reporting.
  • Understand how to read corporate entity documentation for documenting borrower names and signature requirements on loan documents.
  • Use of DocuSign for electronic signatures.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Working Conditions
