Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Dallas is seeking an Associate to support the Loan Data Quality team within Global Banking & Markets Operations. You will help with loan data setup, maintenance and regulatory reporting, collaborating with Risk, Legal, Credit and Technology stakeholders.

The role emphasizes analytical data work, risk oversight, and coordination across regions to ensure timely and accurate loan information. Strong communication and proactive problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a finance related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in syndicated loan / institutional lending operations & total experience of 4–7 years.
• Proven analytical skills & document review skills; prompt-writing is a plus.
• Problem solving ability with a risk-control mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex issues to internal clients with varying product experience.
• Self-motivated team player with ownership and strong organizational skills.
• Flexible and able to work under pressure within a team.

Responsibilities

• Understand the bank loan business and loan structures.
• Decompose complex loan structures to enable timely risk booking.
• Own complex situations and provide expertise to influence outcomes.
• Partner with regional management for effective oversight of loan data attributes.
• Resolve day-to-day issues with time management and cross-team collaboration.
• Adapt to changes in business, markets and regulatory environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks in bespoke workflows.
• Work with global counterparts to support a global loan model and initiatives.
