Job summary

Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) seeks a Loan Conversion Specialist to support Hawthorn River data conversions, mappings, and technical troubleshooting for loan origination software implementations.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, log analysis, and cross-functional collaboration in a remote environment. The ideal candidate will apply SQL, Python, and data-management skills to validate source data, transform loan records, and document results across multiple implementations.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in data conversion or fintech.
• Hands-on SQL for data review, validation, reconciliation, and transformation.
• Experience with structured data files (CSV, fixed-width, XML, JSON).

Responsibilities

• Support data conversions and technical activities for Hawthorn River implementations.
• Review source data from core banking systems and third-party vendors.
• Map source fields to Hawthorn River conversion specifications.
• Use SQL to review, reconcile, validate, and transform loan data.
• Analyze data files (CSV, fixed-width, XML, JSON) for issues and discrepancies.
• Validate source fields align with target requirements before loading.
• Investigate rejected or mis-translated data and document causes.
• Review system/integration logs to identify configuration or data-flow issues.
• Troubleshoot file-based and API-driven integrations with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with data transformations and loan account number changes.
• Use Python or scripting to improve conversion efficiency.
• Support testing, data validation, UAT, go-live, and post-conversion support.
• Document mappings, decisions, validation results, issues and resolutions.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to customers and stakeholders.
• Develop understanding of Hawthorn River data requirements and workflows.
• Collaborate with implementation, product, support, and engineering teams.
• Manage conversion tasks and priorities across multiple implementations.
