LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a Loan Credit Quality Analyst for our top-tier banking client in Plano, TX. Onsite, M-F schedule with flexible shift discussions during interviews.

Focused on risk management through review of credit approvals and loan documents and accurate booking to the system of record. Desirable candidates will have 5+ years in risk management, experience with LoanIQ or Stucky, and strong Excel skills to support policy and control enhancements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of risk management and/or LOB/ECF experience.
  • Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Experience with procedure documentation and risk control framework.
  • Knowledge of Credit products and banking practices.

Responsibilities

  • Clear and concise communication of QA findings to management.
  • Drive remediation and timely follow-up on defects.
  • Partner with risk and business teams to strengthen controls.
  • Provide leadership to ensure risk is managed correctly.

Primarily responsible for risk management by way of review of data elements on credit approval and loan documentation in the financial and collateral booking processand accurately book loans to the system of record

Credit Quality Analyst

ONSITE JOB M-F shift is flex, candidate can discuss with manager during interview

7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. / 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. / 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. / 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Description
  • Clear and concise communication of quality assurance findings, to various management levels
  • Drive execution and prompt follow up on defect remediation; debate of disputes in a professional manner and in accordance with process and procedures
  • Partner with business teams and risk partners to identify upstream process control weaknesses and to propose process changes to enhance the control environment
  • Provide thoughtful leadership and expertise to ensure risk is managed correctly
  • Build global partnerships to facilitate ongoing dialogues
  • Make recommendations for the update of function/LOB control, policy, procedures, and risk/control documentation
  • Assess levels of adherence/execution and identify risk/control improvements in high complexity environments
  • Identify cross-segment / region solutions and collaborate across multiple areas to identify effective and practical controls and risk management techniques
  • Act as an ambassador of the risk culture
  • Experience in loan or other credit-driven operations function
  • Utilize analytical skills and product/technical expertise necessary to execute assigned responsibilities
  • Understand, connect, and communicate control findings to broad strategic business objectives
  • Possess industry knowledge and awareness, challenge the status quo
  • Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of the bank's products/services and its operations
  • Outstanding relationship building skills
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years of risk management and/or LOB/ECF experience
  • Experience with procedure documentation, enterprise policy and standards, risk control framework
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to drive quality goals while meeting aggressive delivery deadlines
Desired skills:
  • Knowledge of Credit products and banking practices with Loan IQ or Stucky experience
  • Knowledge of credit / loan agreement language and pricing structure of documents
  • Understanding of banking of laws, rules, and regulations
  • Audit or compliance background is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:

Syndicated Loan experience

Loan IQ experience

Quality Assurance experience

Required Qualifications:

Some College (preferably at least 2 years)

Microsoft Excel experience
