Loan Closing Manager, Vice President

The Loan Closing Manager will oversee a team of Loan Closing Officers responsible for pre-closing and post-closing activities related to commercial loans across multiple locations, including Texas, California, and Michigan.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all pre-closing and post-closing activities.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, lending groups, counsel, and third parties to foster strong relationships and collaboration.
  • Identify risks and implement controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal, credit, and documentation standards.
  • Coordinate with downstream teams to resolve deficiencies and improve processes.
  • Assist the team in overcoming process or business obstacles to loan closing.
  • Develop training and educational programs to enhance team skills and reduce key-person dependencies.
  • Participate in projects and service improvement initiatives.
  • Manage change initiatives effectively within the team.
  • Set and monitor goals and development plans for team members.
